Guide to Hero Pieces (Part 1)
A list of example Hero Pieces to provide further guidance in establishing your Capsule Wardrobe.
As requested via the Build My Color Palette Instagram community, I have created a list of example Hero Pieces if you are stuck with Step 4 of the Create Your Own Capsule Wardrobe series. In Step 4 of the Create Your Own Capsule Wardrobe series, we expand our Hero Piles, adding any missing items to the Shopping List section of our Capsule Wardrobe Plan.
But, how do we know what items might be missing from our capsule wardrobes? If you have completed a Style Personality Interview, your interview results will already include a list of items for you. If you are completely lost on how to style Hero Pieces, or if you need some guidance on where to find them, this guide is here for you.
The below price ranges have been created so that you can more easily find items within your budget. Some of these Hero Pieces are at a higher price point-remember that these are your most frequently worn garments. I also did not want to recommend items that I felt would not last more than a few years of wear. We will be discussing budgeting later in the Create Your Own Capsule Wardrobe series.
